Akwa Ibom State, in recent times, has continued to locate a place in the global map given the outstanding performance of its people, which has distinguished it from the rest.
Among these people who have made the state to stand out in the crowd are avalanche of beautiful, hardworking and smart daughters of Akwa Ibom.
Prominent among them is Kessy Isong. Based in Abuja and Lagos respectively, Isong is a singer, Beauty Queen (Aso Tourism 2021), an entrepreneur and a philanthropist.
She is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Jess World Nigeria Limited.
Her dedication and focus in managing her company that is into different suites of businesses such as: industrial cleaning & fumigation, medium/large-scale agro export, interior decoration and design and lifestyle among others, earned her the cliché, multi-talented Queen.
She is also a general contractor and also manages her music career at the same time, which shows her zealousness cum ability to thrive in any field.
Her latest track release entitled Like Dat, was premiered on August 20, 2021 and has received massive attention from fans, media and industry friends. She has released series of singles that have given her opportunity to perform alongside A-List artistes in gigs and events around the country and the neighboring states such as: The industry night (vector & friends performance, ladies night); The Stream All Youths Awards 2020; Ay Live 2021, 1st October show in Port Harcourt, Rivers State; The Basement gig Lagos, 2021; Wet’oholic; The 2020 Independence Day get-together at the Kabal Lagos; Calabar Carnival (reggae night), among others.
Suffice to state that this multi-talented Queen has taken all opportunities offered, as it relates to leadership skills enhancement throughout her journey and experiences in the pageant world.
Majoring in public administration, Kessy is no stranger to charity work as she has embarked on women emancipation programmes in her community as a prerequisite to her former crowns. She has visited schools of the less-privileged in both her hometown and other states in Nigeria, where she offered words of encouragement and presented gift items.
Isong has also visited her alma matter, Christ the King International Schools, Uyo, to commemorate the United Nations International Childrens Day.
Recently, precisely on February 27, 2022, the Akwa Ibom born beauty celebrated her birthday in a grand style befitting of the Queen that she is. The auspicious occasion, which took place at the Lacowe Lakes and Golf Resort in Lagos, Nigeria, had friends and well wishers in attendance.
