More messages of congratulations are still pouring in for Akparawa James Edet on his appointment as permanent secretary, the latest coming from the state chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations  (NIPR).

In the message presented to Edet and signed on behalf of the chapter by the chairman, Nsemeke Udoakpan and secretary, Darlington Udobong, the institute extended its warmest greetings and deepest felicitations to Edet on his recent elevation and appointment as permanent secretary in the state civil service.

The letter said his appointment was a manifestation of what he is known for – a focused, disciplined, committed and dedicated person, adding that with his worth and strength the institute was happy that Gov Udom Emmanuel found him worthy of appointment for the service of Akwa Ibom and humanity.

While thanking God on his appointment, the NIPR prayed the good Lord to guide, protect and give Edet the enablement and wisdom to carry out the enormous responsibilities of the office of the permanent secretary and also contribute his quota towards the progress and development of Akwa Ibom.
