Guber 2023: Pastor Umo Eno has the Capacity to Deliver Good Governance – Chief Senas Ukpanah

As the search for Governor Udom Emmanuel’s successor continues, an elder statesman, Chief Senas Ukpanah has expressed confidence in the capacity of Pastor Umo Eno to deliver good governance in the State if elected as governor in 2023.

Chief Ukpana who stated this during a consultation visit of Pastor Umo Eno’s Campaign team said the decision of the team to visit him was mere formality as he had already endorsed the aspiration of the seasoned businessman and Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources as the next governor of the state.

The technocrat who has served the state and country in different capacities noted that Pastor Eno represents capacity, competence and character and urged him to adopt the Vision 2020 template for the economic development of Akwa Ibom State.

He assured the PDP hopeful of the support of Ukanafun people at the primaries and governorship election in 2023 noting that the aspirant is his long- standing and trusted friend .

In his speech, the frontline Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant, described the host, Chief Senas Ukpanah as one of the pillars of the new Akwa Ibom State who deserves all the honour and respect.

He noted the contributions of the elder statesman to the development of the state, stressing that he has paid his dues in all ramifications.

Pastor Eno who is reputed for his entrepreneurial prowess, stressed that power belongs to God and He gives it to whoever He chooses adding that he was humbled by the endorsement by Governor Udom Emmanuel and Stakeholders of the State and promised to reciprocate the gesture by ensuring that he connects the dots of the past, present and future developmental projects while furthering peace and prosperity when elected into office.

He solicited the support of the seasoned administrator and the entire Ukanafun delegates at the party primaries and later, the gubernatorial election.

While presenting the aspirant to the host, the International Coordinator, Maintain Peace Movement (MPM), Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem said the group has been preaching peace in the State and that the choice of Pastor Eno as the preferred aspirant is an answer to the prayer of Akwa Ibom people who are yearning for peace to engender sustainable development in the State.

He described the aspirant as one who has been found worthy in character and capacity, adding that given the opportunity, he would sustain the peace and development strides in the State.

Enoidem who maintained that Pastor Eno is a humble, humane, intelligent and resourceful manager from Uyo Senatorial District, appealed to Obong Ukpanah and the people of Ukanafun to throw their weight behind him.

The visit was attended by top members of MPM as well as political heavyweights.
