Gov Udom Emmanuel’s capacity to lead Nigeria out of the current economic gloom was reaffirmed by the governor of Bayelsa, Sen Duoye Diri. The governor expressed confidence that if given the opportunity, Emmanuel would revamp the economy and solve the security problems of the country. He urged the aspirant to continue his issue based campaign, while praying to God for success.

The state chairman of the party in Bayelsa, Mr Solomon Aguana, described the governor as the best person to steer the ship of the country to a safe harbour. He expressed the readiness of the delegates to support the aspiration of Emmanuel.

The governor assured all the delegates that his presidency would cause a cessation to the current agitations by fixing the economy.

According to Emmanuel, “Immediately the economy is working, people will be more interested in being financially productive than divisive agitations.”

The chairman of the Udom Emmanuel Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Gabriel Suswam, expressed confidence in the person and capacity of Emmanuel to lead the country.

He said, “Udom Emmanuel has the integrity, capacity and intelligence to lead this country out of the woods that the current administration has put it in.”

A former state chairman of the PDP, Obong Paul Ekpo, appreciated the state governor and the party hierarchy for the warm reception accorded the presidential aspirant and his entourage.
