It was a moment of gratitude to God and to H.E. Gov. Udom Emmanuel for Afaha Ikot Idem Udo Village Council as they dedicated a brand new 300kVA ABB Electricity Transformer after the Village Council Meeting of Wednesday 23rd March, 2022.
Led by the Village Head, Ete-Idung Rev. Engr. Imo Gilbert Isong, members began with a prayer of thanksgiving and for protection to God Almighty, and then proceeded to fulfill the necessary traditional protocols in appreciation of the positive development.
Full of praises to H.E. the Governor who has rescued the community from months of darkness following a fault in the former transformer, the Village Head also appreciated the SSA to H.E. on Power, Engr. Meyen Etukudo for his valued effort at seeing to the end of the blackout in the village.
He promised that Afaha Ikot Idem would continue to support the Completion Agenda
of the Governor.
Other Council Members present included, among others, Ward Leader Obong Bassey Essien Nkanga (JP), Arc Mfon Akpabio and Mr Akaninyene Isong.
