“Today I promise you and I give you my solemn word that those of us in the 9th Assembly will continue to do what we can, whenever, wherever, as we can to make sure that these boys and girls, whom we call the elders tomorrow, in fact, they are given a seat at the table and maybe one day, they sit at the head of the table,” he said.
The speaker also said that the 9th Assembly is passionate about the country’s development and will continue to work hard for the nation’s progress.
The speaker said that the empowerment programme was in gratitude for the constant support given to his electoral promise to impact the people of the area.
