The Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN),Akwa Ibom branch, bade farewell to its late Board of Trustees(BoT) member South-South, Mr Efiok Akpan, over the weekend with a resolve to remain eternally grateful for his pioneering role in REDAN.

Umanah said REDAN recalls with pride and satisfaction Akpan’s outstanding and consistent contributions to the sustenance and actualization of the goals of the association as well as the general development of the state.
He specifically recalled his enviable role as the pioneer chairman of REDAN and subsequent fruitful tenure as the board of trustees member South-South.
REDAN, he said, recalled with gratitude his invaluable inputs in the articulation and formulation of various housing policies in the state and the country.
The state chairman said it is indeed sad that Akpan, who indeed was a distinguished professional in the built environmenthas left at this critical moment in the history of REDAN when his usual inputs would have been most needed in the construction of 77,400 houses across the country.
He urged the wife, children and entire family to be consoled with the fact that Akpan led an enviable lifestyle till the very end and left behind legacies in REDAN, the state, the nation and humanity.
