The international president, Maintain Peace Movement (MPM)and the Senate hopeful for Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District come 2023, Mr Enoidem has said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) remains the only organised political party in Nigeria.
Enoidem made this assertion today during the sensitization tour and visit of Abak Federal Constituency by the state chapter andState Working Committee of the party to formally brief party faithful and delegates on the readiness of the party to conduct the forthcoming PDP primaries and subsequently participation in general elections in the state.
The immediate-past national legal adviser of PDP whocommended the state party chairman, Elder Aniekan Akpan, for the stability, ingenuity and professionalism he has engendered in the party, informed that, the party is ready to conduct primaries both at the national and the state levels, towards taking over power at the centre and as well driving the governor’s completion and succession agenda to a logical conclusion, thereby, producing Pastor Umoh Eno as governor in 2023.
The most preferred aspirant for the top job at the Red Chamber come 2023, charged members of the party including delegates to be consistent and remain steadfast as the party is set to make them proud.
Christening the state party chairman, Elder Aniekan Akpan, as “the only State Party Chairman without a Colleague”, MrEnoidem assured him that Abak Federal Constituency is intact with a readiness to deliver Pastor Umo Eno and all other aspirants from the Federal Constituency. He insisted that Peace must be maintained in Akwa Ibom State, emphasizing that, peace has been identified as the fulcrum upon which development stands and is sustained.
Stating that the PDP primaries is fast approaching, the Maintain Peace Movement helmsman urged Akwa Ibom people to consolidate on the gains of peace as fostered by the present administration, with a view to sustaining it for a brighter future for Akwa Ibom State.
