An aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the just-concluded party primary for Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency has commended the complementary role played by the PDP family in the area for the emergence of Mr. Uduak Alphonsus Odudo, as the candidate for the forthcoming 2023 House of Representatives election.
Mr. Nsikan Bassey Okon made the commendation at Ikot Abasi Local Government field immediately after the end of the PDP primaries in the area. He said the orderly manner in which the entire exercise was carried-out without rancour and acrimony was a plus to the PDP family, adding that all hands should continue to be on deck for the overall success of the party comes 2023 general elections.
The immediate-past House of Representatives aspirant who spoke of his total commitment to the Peoples Democratic Party in all ramifications implored the people of Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency to sink their personal and political differences and foster more cooperation for the betterment of the people and the party.
Describing Mr Uduak Alphonsus Odudo as a versatile administrator whose diverse knowledge in various spheres would continue to impact creditably on the life of the people, Mr Okon said, he was optimistic of his effective representation comes 2023 and attributed the overwhelming support and the emergence of Mr Odudo as the handiwork of God through the un-relented effort of Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency stakeholders who worked assiduously for the success of the primaries.
While congratulating Mr Odudo after the peaceful primaries for his emergence as the House of Representatives candidate, Mr Okon used the opportunity to thank all his supporters for their show of support and commitment during and after the primaries. He pledged his unalloyed support and loyalty to Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel for creating an unprecedented impact both in human capacity and infrastructural development in the state.
