Gov Emmanuel To Unfold Bumper Programmes Soon

Gov Udom Emmanuel has promised to unfold batches of bumper programmes within the next 12 months in Akwa Ibom.

Consequently, Emmanuel has given assurance that his administration was poised to ensuring successfully Completion Agenda on infrastructural development of the state.

The governor gave the hints on arrival from the just concluded presidential primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party during an interview with journalists which took place at the Victor Attach International Airport, Uyo, Tuesday.

He remarked that the next round of projects and programmes of his administration would be to further demonstrate it is only the PDP government that has the wand to salvage the present economic and security situation in the state and country, explaining that purposeful leadership has so far given Akwa Ibom a comparative economic advantage in the list of other states of the country.

Emmanuel said that the decision to participate in the PDP Presidential PRIMARIES was a bold step to offer himself in partnership with God for contributions to reverse the challenges facing the country, emphasizing that Nigeria needs a visionary and creative leader to proffer solutions to national challenges.

He pointed out that all the presidential aspirants presented at the primaries possess the required qualities of creativity, exposure, capacity, love and sincerity of purpose for the country, adding that the desire to rescue Nigeria by the PDP presidential aspirants go beyond self interest to the future of generations unborn.

Emmanuel appreciated the high level of support given him to part take the presidential primaries of the party and appealed to all party faithful to work together towards the return of PDP to power at the state and national level, assuring that through team contributions the party would deploy all the resource in rebuilding the economy.
