The Akwa Ibom governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, has approved the appointment of the director (Audit), Mr. Isaiah Robson Ntekim, FCA, FCTI, as the new state auditor-general.
Governor Emmanuel’s approval is sequel to the clearance by the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, for theappointment.
A statement by the head of Civil Service, Elder Effiong Essien, made available to Midweek Pioneer, indicates that the swearing-in will be performed by Governor Emmanuel on a date to be announced.
