The Akwa Ibom State GubernatorialCandidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Umo Eno, has congratulated the State Commissioner of Police (CP), MrAmiengeme Andrew, on his recent promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police.
He spoke at the thanksgiving and send-forth ceremony held in Andrew’s honour at the POWA Secretariat, Police Headquarters, Uyo.
Eno, who was raised in a Police environment, said the elevation of the CP was an indication of his performance in the force.
He lauded Andrew’s professionalism and laudable contributions to the peace and security of Akwa Ibom which, according to him, has made the state investor friendly.
Eno prayed God to continue to bless and elevate the AIG.
Andrew was enlisted in the Police about 34 years ago and served in Akwa Ibom as CPfor about two years.
