The commissioner for information and strategy has restated his resolve to continue to celebrate his staff on their birthdays as long as he remains in office as the helmsman.
Comrade Ini Ememobong made this known Monday, February 28, 2022, during the celebration of February-born staff of the Ministry, which took place at the Conference Room of the Ministry.

Ememobong said the birthday exercise has become a customary practice of the Ministry of Information and Strategy, under his watch and promised to keep the exercise running as long as he remains the commissioner in the Ministry, as a means of staff motivation and welfare.
The commissioner commended the director of Public Relations, Mrs. Grace Akpan, for her efforts geared towardsthe success of the monthly birthday celebration exercise,adding that her consistency has made the programme a worthwhile gesture in the Ministry.
Ememobong congratulated all February-born staff of the Ministry for adding another year to their lives and prayed God to keep them to see many more fulfilled years ahead.
While presenting birthday cards to the celebrators, the permanent secretary in the Ministry, Akparawa James Edet, expressed joy at the excitement on the faces of the February-born staff of the Ministry, stating that with such happiness, celebration will not cease in their homes.

Edet, who shared in the euphoria of the moment, joined the celebrators in the cutting of their birthday cake and also presented birthday cards and cash gift to them.
In a vote of thanks, on behalf of the February-born staff of the Ministry, an information officer, Mrs. Uduak Udodung, expressed deep appreciation of the celebrators to the commissioner and the entire management staff of the Ministry for sustaining the birthday celebration and prayed God to bless the commissioner with resources to continue with the celebration of staff.
Accompanying the commissioner for information and strategy, Comrade Ini Ememobong, to the event were a former commissioner for information, Mr Etop Idung and the state chairman of NIPR, Mr. Nsemeke Udoakpan, among others.
