From Abraham Akpabio

LAGOS

The senior pastor of Great Fountain of Living Water Assembly Inc. has tasked Nigerians to be hopeful, dedicated and demonstrate selfless love to their neighbours for greater anddivine blessings in 2022.

Rev. Moses Nelson gave the charge in his closing remark to round off the annual revival programme of his ministry in Surulere, Lagos, tagged: 28 Days with Him on the Mountain 2022, with the theme, On the Eagles’ Wings.

He said the church embarked on intensive prayers having heard from the Lord to pray for well-being of members, the nation Nigeria as it prepares for another general elections in 2023 as well as peace in the land, with divine assurance that the nation and people shall overcome their challenges.

“Having come to the end of the 28 days in His presence, with answers, it is our place to urge other like-minded and spirit-filled individuals to join us as we continue to pray in our closetsand as a body of Christ for revival and restoration of lost glory of our land.

“It is time we give God His rightful place in our lives and land/ nation, allow our conscience to speak, avoid partial obedience to God and give integrity its rightful place in our affairs”, Nelson stressed.

Speaking further on states of the nation, the clergyman advised politicians in particular to be careful in any political position they may find themselves because there is tomorrow and should play politics with conscience, think about the human and the God-factor as 2023 general elections draw nearer.

“There is a divine and blessed assurance that Nigeria will triumph and become the great nation it was destined to be. As it is, our political leaders in particular should begin to toe the path of love, harmony, peace and respect for human rights”, he advised.

The visiting minister at the last day of the programme, YomiOlubangbi, while appreciating and congratulating the Christianfaithful of Great Fountain of Living Water Assembly for going through long days of prayers, said prayer remains the only advantage in the midst of any disadvantage, advising people generally to trust and have faith in God.

Olubangbi who is the mobilization secretary, Lagos Zone of Calvary Ministries, an evangelical outreach for missionaries, used the programme to call for support for missionaries.
