The battle for who flies the flag of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Akwa Ibom North east senatorial district at the forth coming party primaries is gathering momentum with the frontline aspirant,  Usenobong Akpabio teeing off in a grand style.

Though the golf course is not up to the standard 18 hole that makes the Ibom Country Golf Course the number in the country, Barr Akpabio is not shaken as he is not a novice having conquered the needed handicap far back.

Akpabio who is currently the captain of the Ibom Country Golf Club is in a familiar terrain as his long years of captaincy has prepared and exposed him to the politics of the course which remains the highest sports for political networking in the world.

Robbed of the trophy through political horse trading at the last minutes of a hole in one twice, the skipper has now mastered the tricky turf and has since overcame his handicap and is ready to be crowned the  champion of  Uyo senatorial district 2023   Masters Open

Uyo senatorial district deserves the best for the 2023 Open championship since high net worth golfers will dominate the tournament. This is not the season for mediocre.  Then who fits the bill better than the tournament favourite with years of golfing experience and arrays of caddies on display other that the captain of the club.

Usenobong Akpabio is the primus inter pares when aspirants are mentioned. His locus classicus  on legislative matters is magburu onwe ya according to our Igbo brothers.

So, why we no go follow the man wey sabi the boundaries of our golf course?

Ke Akpaniko, Ini Usenobong Adikem !
