Bala Lauds Wike For Initiating New Projects

The governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has performed the official flag-off of Rumukwurushi Tank Junction Fly-over project in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Bala appreciated Governor Nyesom Wike for initiating new projects, adding that his name would be written with gold in the history of the state considering his infrastructural delivery, construction of bridges and roads for the rapid development of the state.

The governor pointed out that, the projects being implemented were for the good of the state and tools for improving the living conditions of the people.

Bala noted that, his presidential aspiration was to rescue and unite the country adding that the PDP would continue to ensure the unity and progress of Nigerians.

Governor Wike expressed gratitude to Governor Bala for flagging off the project and called for continued understanding among them for the benefit of their respective states.

Wike applauded his visitor for his developmental projects in Bauchi State within a short period of time.

He disclosed that he would commission the Ikoku flyover in April 2022, adding that contractors were working to ensure its completion before the deadline.

The governor had earlier announced that the state government was preparing to construct the 11th and 12th flyovers at Rumuokwuta and Location junctions respectively.

He explained that the essence of the flyover was to reduce traffic around the Mgbuoba axis of the state.
