AKSG Condoles With Aniekpeno Mkpanang Over Sister’s Death

The Akwa Ibom governor has condoled with Mr AniekpenoMkpanang, permanent secretary, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, at Ikot Akpa Nkuk, Ukanafun Local Government Area over the demise of his sister, late Lady Elizabeth Mkpanang.

Mr Udom Emmanuel, represented by his senior special assistant on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Ntufam Elijah Iyak, commiserated with the Mkpanangs who are planning their sister’s funeral service today, February 25, 2022.

The governor, who attended the service of songs in honour of the late Elizabeth Mkpanang, noted that the deceased must have been a very loving woman of very great impact to be celebrated with so much love as the “#WorldsGreatestSister.” 

 He prayed that God should grant her soul eternal rest and grant Mkpanang and his family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Mkpanang thanked the governor for his great love and the many times he has reposed great confidence in him. He recalled the amazing brotherhood he has come to share with the first family and assured the governor of his unending gratitude. 

Accompanying the representative of the governor were other great sons of Ukanafun, among them, the council chairman, Pastor Godwin Inyieng, Mr. Ndiana-Abasi Nana Udom, the SSA – multilateral and donor agencies; Prince Nsikanabasi Umoekpo, special assistant, Projects)
