A’IBOM SPEAKER REITERATES HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY’S SUPPORT TO UMO ENO

Speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Aniekan Bassey, has reiterated the unflinching support of members of the 7th Assembly to the 2023 Governorship aspiration of Pastor Umo Eno.

He said this in Uyo on Thursday when Umo Eno’s Campaign Team consulted the Uyo Senatorial District Leaders’ Forum.

Rt. Hon. Bassey described Pastor Eno as a seasoned Entrepreneur capable of repositioning the State for the best and consolidating on the gains instituted by Governor Udom Emmanuel.

He further stressed that Pastor Eno has been duly endorsed by the 7th Assembly.

The Speaker, who eulogized the newly installed political Leader of Uyo Senatorial District Forum, Senator Effiong Bob, pledged the readiness of the members of the Assembly and that of the Maintain Peace Movement (MPM) to corporate and work for the emergence of Pastor Umo Eno as Governor come 2023.
