The Akwa Ibom State Government has donated security gadgets to the 2 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Uyo.
A communication consultant to the government, Pastor Bassey James,presented the gadgets on Wednesday, last week, to the Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Abubakar Wase, at the Brigade Headquarters.
He said the gesture was part of government’s efforts to strengthen the Joint Task Force, stressing that Governor Udom Emmanuel was committed to the security of lives and property in the state.
Responding, Wase thanked the governor for the donation and pledged the resolve of the brigade to assist the government in ensuring peace and securityin the state.
