Umo Eno, Eyakenyi To Tour The Grassroots In A’Ibom

…As Governorship Campaign Flags Off

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its gubernatorial candidate for the 2023 election in Akwa Ibom, Pastor Umo Enoand his deputy, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, are set to deliver to the grassroots, their salient programmes towards the continuous development and transformation of the state.

 This will take place during a campaign tour of the 31 local government areas of the state, commencing with the gubernatorial campaign flag off today.

 This is coming on the heels of the party’s recent and very impressive campaign flag off in the three senatorial districts ofthe state.

 According to the campaign calendar released by the Umo Enoand Akon Eyakenyi 2023 campaign organization, the first local government area to hear Umo Eno deliver his blueprint for the local government and the state at large, after the flag off, is Onna Local Government Area.

 While all official local government campaigns have been scheduled to end by December 2022, according to the calendar, the Onna Local Government Area campaign is billed for Friday,November 11, 2022.

 Furthermore, the campaign train will storm Urue Offong/OrukoLocal Government Area on November 15, 2022.

   A rundown of the campaign tour to other local governmentsand their dates are as follows:

Itu Local Government Area – 18th November, Mbo – 21st November, Ika – 22nd November, Abak – 25th November, Ikono- 26th November, Nsit Ibom – 28 November, Mkpat Enin – 29 November, Eastern Obolo – 6th December, Nsit Atai – 7th December, Ibiono Ibom – 8th December, Ibeno – 13th December, Ibesikpo Asutan – 14th December, Okobo – 15th December, EsitEket – 19th December, Ini – 20th December.

 Others are: Ikot Abasi – 5th January, Etinan – 10th January, Essien Udim – 12th January, Udung Uko – 13th January, Eket – 19th January, Ikot Ekpene – 26th January, Uruan – 27th January, Obot Akara – 31st January, Oruk Anam – 6th February, Uyo – 7th February, Etim Ekpo – 8th February, Oron – 9th February, Ukanafun – 10th February.

The local government campaign calendar indicates that the curtain shall be drawn with a tour to Nsit Ubium Local Government Area on February 11, 2023.
