As 2023 general election is drawing near, the Special Assistance to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Project Monitoring, Lady Kate Ekong yesterday, mobilizes the women of Central 1 in Esit Urua Eket for the ongoing INEC voters registration.
According to her, “it is necessary and compelling that the party (PDP), that gave her a platform to serve, win in the upcoming general elections at all levels, and to win convincingly on ground, all the women must have their permanent voter card”.
Ekong commend Governor Udom Emmanuel and his dear wife, Dr. Martha Udom Emmanuel for their continued love and commitment to the things that concerns the women of Akwa Ibom State. Her Excellency’s support is tremendously overwhelming, she added.
She thanked the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftains Affairs, Hon Frank Archibong and his dear wife, Mrs. Bright Archbishop for their support and role they played during the voter registration exercise. In her avowed appreciation, she also commends the House of Representative Candidate for Eket Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Okpolupm Ette and Obong Kingsley Mbre.
Speaking during the visit to the women, the Commissioner’s friendly wife, Mrs. Bright Archibong eulogized the woman of Esit Urua in Eket Local Government for their firm support to the administration of Governor Udom Emmanuel and his dear wife. She charged the women not to be intimidated or moved by the antics of the opposition and that their powers lies in the permanent voter card (PVC).
Mrs. Archibong lashes out some gifts items to encourage the women with a promise to do more.
