The member representing the Abak/Ika/Etim Ekpo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr. Clement Jimbo, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on his emergence as the presidential flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the recently concluded primary election.
In a congratulatory message made available to The Pioneer, Jimbo described President Tinubu’s victory as a clear reflection of the confidence and trust party members place in his leadership capacity, political experience, and long-standing commitment to national development.
He noted that Tinubu remains one of the most influential political figures in Nigeria’s democratic history and expressed optimism that his candidacy would further strengthen the APC ahead of future elections.
Jimbo applauded the transparent conduct of the party’s primary process. He also commended APC stakeholders across the country for maintaining unity and supporting the party’s vision for the continued progress and development of the nation.
“Tinubu’s emergence symbolizes continuity, stability, and renewed hope for millions of Nigerians who believe in the reforms and policies of the ruling party,” Jimbo stated.
The federal lawmaker further noted that President Tinubu has consistently demonstrated courage and determination through economic reforms, infrastructural development, and governance initiatives aimed at repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth. He added that the APC remains strongly united under Tinubu’s leadership and is fully capable of delivering democratic dividends to citizens across the federation.
Jimbo, who serves as the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on National Planning and Economic Development, urged party faithful, women, youths, and supporters nationwide to remain steadfast and mobilize support for the APC. He emphasized that national unity and collective responsibility remain essential for Nigeria’s progress.
