Engr. George Henshaw, stated this in his remark during a recent get-together of some political stakeholders from Okobo, which took place at the Okobo residence of Mr. Atte Isuo.

The Council chairman used the occasion to call on everyone to join hands with him by supporting his government and that of the state, led by Governor Umo Eno.
His words, “I know what to do to give value to my people and the government of the state. But I can’t do it alone. We need to work together as a team. This is our government and we don’t have to make mistake.
“This is our opportunity to rewrite our story and make history. It is moreso important that we support the governor to deliver his laudable vision for the state”, the council chairman added, and also used the opportunity to unveil some of his plans for the area.
While also calling for more government support to Okobo and the Oro nation, the chairman disclosed that one of his mission was to open up avenues for internally generated revenue (IGR) which, he said, is almost non-existent in Okobo.
