The Akwa Ibom State Government has received a significant boost in its partnership with the Conference of Online Publishers Association (COOPA). Mr. Kufre Ekpoh, Special Assistant to the Governor on New/Digital Media, commended COOPA for its complementary reportage in support of the state government.

Mr. Ekpoh made this statement while attending COOPA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Uyo on December 26, 2024. He emphasized the importance of synergy between the government and organizations in achieving their mandates.

He said that the government needs partnerships like this to function effectively and deliver on its promises. Mr. Ekpoh pledged his full support for COOPA in the coming year, particularly in training and retraining its members.

“This partnership is crucial for the development of Akwa Ibom State. By working together, the government and COOPA can promote the state’s interests and projects more effectively.” He said.

Mr. Ekpoh also called on COOPA members to give their full support to the organization’s leadership as such collective effort will ensure the continued success of their partnership with the state government.

“The Akwa Ibom State Government, led by Governor Umo Bassey Eno, has been working tirelessly to develop the state. Partnerships like the one with COOPA are essential in achieving this goal.” He added.
