UyoAll is now set for the burial of the late wife of the Akwa Ibom governor, Mrs. Patience Umo
Eno, who passed on to glory, on September 26, 2024.
This indication was first heralded with the funeral announcement by the bereaved family in consultation with the State Government and followed with the inauguration of the burial planning committee.
According to the announcement, the opening of mourning house is set for November
20, 2024, to pave way for condolence visits between November 20 – 26, 2024.
The burial proper comes up on November 29, 2024, with the Funeral Service at the deceased’s Country Home, Ikot Ekpene Udo in Nsit Ubium LGA, by 10 am.
Meanwhile, the bereaved family has expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love and support from people and organisations across the country and beyond and further requests continued prayers, understanding and solidarity in the days leading up to the funeral even as more request for condolence visits to the
family by various groups and individuals keeps pouring in.
