The Akwa Ibom governor has launched the ARISE Brand and its insignias to promote the image, vision and ideals of his administration.
At the launch of the project, Tuesday, which took place at the Brand Management and Marketing office, 65 Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo, Pastor Umo Eno said the brand will promote the image, vision and ideals of his administration, even as the branding will greatly help register in the minds of the people the developmental vision and focus of his administration, and also help attract needed support and collaboration.
Eno made known that the ARISE Brand will appear in various forms as ties, scarfs, tie clips, caps, bangles, and other items, adding that it will help showcase and promote his administration’s ARISE Agenda to penetrate the public more in order to carry the people along on government’s vision and drive.
He said people’s dressing, especially government officials, friends and supporters of government would henceforth not be complete without being accompanied by the ARISE insignia which, he stressed, is not about political party, but about what government portrays, promotes and believes in, which is the ARISE Agenda.
The governor directed the brand anchorman, and senior special assistant on Brand Management, Mr. Ralph Edem, to endeavour to secure and also carry along the “Renewed Hope” insignia of the Federal Government, since it all aligns with the vision and trajectory of the State government.
“We are glad to open our ARISE Brand Management office today to help showcase and promote our ARISE Agenda to penetrate the public more in order to carry our people along on our vision and drive.
“There is something for everyone. So, your dressing, henceforth, would not be complete without being accompanied by the ARISE insignia, especially if you are a government official or our friend and supporter.
“This is not about political party, but about what our government portrays, promotes and believes in, which is the ARISE Agenda.
“We should also seek to get the Renewed Hope insignia and items too to put them together because we are all arising to the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Tinubu-led administration at the federal level”.
The governor assigned a vehicle to the brand management team and directed that it should be properly branded as well, and used as a display platform to showcase the various ARISE Branded items to the public for their support and integration, saying, “All of these things are done to keep deepening our ARISE message in the society for our people’s appropriate understanding, adoption and collaboration.”
He lauded Edem for his commitment and dedication to his assignment, assuring him of the government’s support and motivation to accomplish more.
In his remarks, Edem appreciated the governor for his support on the establishment of the showroom which has attracted a good number of people to partner and benefit from the programmes of the ARISE Agenda.
According to him, the ARISE branded items were all customised to accommodate all classes of people of the State in various wearable forms.
In a related development, the governor in his character of supporting entrepreneurship, took a detour to an art studio that produces prosthesis and other art works located within the same premises, and lauded the founder and chief executive officer, John Amanam, for his creativity, and directed that Amanam be enlisted as a resource person in the upcoming Craft Week, and other creative engagements of the State government and announced a business support grant for his firm.
