… Declares Support For Eno’s Second Term Come 2027

The senate president, Godswill Akpabio, has declared total support for the return of Pastor Umo Eno as governor of Akwa Ibom come 2027, describing the governor as a man of God who practices godliness in his heart.
Akpabio, who stated this over the weekend, during his constituency briefing and empowerment programme held at the Ikot Ekpene Township Stadium, noted with delight how the governor has single handedly united the political class and people of the state for a common goal.
The nation’s number three citizen, said the spirit of unity currently sweeping through Akwa Ibom transcends political affiliations, adding that all political structures in the State have resolved to queue behind Governor Eno ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“For the Office of the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, all political parties have agreed to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Akwa Ibom has moved in one direction for Tinubu as President, Umo Eno as governor, and Godswill Akpabio as Senator,” he stated.
Highpoint of the empowerment ceremony was the distribution of empowerment items to over 1,600 constituents including 30 minibuses, 67 passenger tricycles, 347 deep freezers, 247 generating sets, cassava processing machines, gas cookers, bags of rice and cash grants.
