Gov Emmanuel Proclaims PDP Overall Wins In 2023

Gov Udom Emmanuel has announced a futuristic landslide victory for the Peoples Democratic Party at all positions in the 2023 elections in the state.

 Emmanuel made the prediction of winnings during the inauguration of Akwa Ibom chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship election campaigns council, which took place at Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo, Monday.

 Emmanuel said that the inauguration of the campaign council was another historic moment for the Akwa Ibom chapter of the party to work for massive winning of all positions in the election, adding that the council was inclusive to move from hinterlands to the cities with messages for sustenance of hope in the state.

 He remarked that the campaign council also represents the symbolic sailing of the ship of victory from coast to coast, assuring that the ship would follow previous radar to berth at the harbour of victory in the state. 

 Emmanuel appreciated the selected members of the governorship campaign council for accepting to work with state chapter working committee to achieve the succession plan, noting that the membership of the campaign council was not without the profile of persons vested with rudiments of previous successes of the party in past elections.  

 The Akwa Ibom chapter chairman of the PDP, Elder Aniekan Akpan, said that the inauguration of the 2023 elections campaign council was the launch of a robust strategy to repeat the stories of victory, maintaining that PDP has always been recording victory in the state.

 Akpan mentioned that in the 2023 elections, the people of Akwa Ibom would not deviate from delivering all candidates of the PDP in all categories of the elections, adding that there are assurances that the electorate would most importantly vote to retain an administration of progress and collective prosperity. 

 The director-general of the campaign organisation, ChiefAssam Assam, SAN, said that the PDP campaign organisation would be driven on the premise of issue-based campaigns, calling on the people of Akwa Ibom to sign a pact in the “Arise Agenda” of the governorship campaign.

The event featured the presentation of goodwill messages by the deputy speaker, state House of Assembly, Princess Felicia Bassey; the senior special adviser to the governor on youth matters, Mr. Aniefiok Iwaudofia; the former national legal adviser of the PDP, Mr Emmanuel Enoidem; a former national legislator, Senator Effiong Bob, attended by the governorship candidate of the PDP, Umo Eno, watched by a large segment of PDP members across the state.
