UYO

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Pastor Umo Eno, has urged Christians and every well-meaning citizen of the state to register and collect their Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) to fully participate in the process.

Speaking at the two-day prayer convention of A Touch of Greater Glory International Ministry (ATOGGIM) held in Uyo, Pastor Eno said it was time for the church to rise and take part in the process of electing leaders for the overall good of the state.

He noted that the PVC is the power of every citizen to participate in the process of electing leaders adding that Christians cannot afford to stay aloof from politics.

While commending Prophet Peter Daniel, the Commander 1 of the ministry, and the ATOGGIM members for the prayer convention, Pastor Eno who was the special guest at the convention admonished them to continue praying for Governor Udom Emmanuel’s completion agenda, Akwa Ibom State and the country in general.

Earlier in his sermon tagged, The Journey of a Great Destiny,Prophet Daniel stated that every human created by God has an assignment adding that the bigger the assignment, the greater the challenges.

Reading from Matthew 26:4, he maintained that the earthly mission of Jesus had serious hurdles with the final being the crucification adding that anyone given an assignment by God must prepare for the accompanying hurdles and battles.

Prophet Daniel said, Pastor Eno has been ordained for a special assignment in the state, hence the many attacks launched at him, and urged him not to be weary as victory is assured.
