LAGOS

An expert in digital transformation, management and hydrocarbon accounting/fiscal metering solutions has called on the oil and gas industry, the government and other stakeholders to embrace specialized knowledge on hydrocarbon accounting and digital transformation.

The managing director/ chief executive officer of Suneses Energy Limited, Dr. Emmanuel Udofia, made the call in Uyo, on the sideline of a 5-day intensive training on hydrocarbon accounting, recently.

According to him, the call became necessary because of lack of proper hydrocarbon accounting knowledge for what we produce in this country, not only in energy industry but in other sectors.

“Suneses Energy Limited located in Lagos is the only company in the sub Saharan Africa that is engaged in this speciality training which had already taken place in Lagos and some other big cities in Nigeria.

This, is the first time the company is bringing the training to Uyo”, he said.

Udofia who was flanked by one of his colleague, Mr Henry Akpan, explained that the reason for bringing the training to Uyo was to avail interested groups the opportunity to key into the training as people from other parts of the country had already started doing so and are reaping the benefits which includes increased business profitability.

He urged the government, corporate entities and individuals to tap into the vision, assuring that the training will enrich the delegates with adequate knowledge to curb wastage associated with lack of proper hydrocarbon accounting for what we produce.

“It will be cost effective as there will be discount for group registration”, he added.

He noted that his company which is world class in operation, compares favourably with other companies engaged in providing similar services worldwide.

The company has expanded its training offerings to other specialized fields including; metering solutions, full suite digitalized transformation and implementation field automation and control.

Others services offering are  assets process review, manpower supply and documentation digitization, local and international human capacity course, operational and occupational safety review, pumping, coil tubing, drilling and completion.

Speaking on the company’s profile in partnership with other companies worldwide, including Halliburton, Dr. Udofia dismissed the notion on the much-talked about renewable energy facing out fossil fuel, saying as far as humanity is still in existence, the use of fossil energy will last for a long time.
