The Akwa Ibom State Fiscal Responsibility Board has been adjudged and celebrated as the Best Performing Fiscal Responsibility Agency in Nigeria.
This verdict was presented by the chairman, Fiscal Responsibility Commission, Abuja, Barr. Victor Muruaoko, during the National Summit of Fiscal Responsibility Agencies which took place at the Nigerian Air Force Conference Center, Abuja on September 5-6, 2024.
In another development, the directorgeneral of the Akwa Ibom State Fiscal Responsibility Board, Mr. Victor Edet, has been unanimously adopted as the chairman, Forum of Heads of Fiscal Responsibility Agencies in Nigeria.
Edet was unanimously adopted at the just concluded National Summit of Fiscal Responsibility Agencies held at Nigerian Air Force Conference Center, Abuja
PresentingEdet as the chairman of the Forum, the chairman, Fiscal Responsibility Commission, Abuja, Victor Muruaoko,Esq urged him to coordinate the activities of the Forum pending when election will be conducted to fill up other vacant positions in the Forum.
This came after the Akwa Ibom State Fiscal Responsibility Board had been adjudged and celebrated as the Best Performing Fiscal Responsibility Agency in Nigeria during the national summit.
