When Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, appointed Mrs. Elsie Anietie Peters as the seventh Head of the Akwa Ibom State Civil Service, it was more than a routine transition. Born on May 2, 1971, in Ebute-Metta, Lagos State, and hailing from Ikot Akpandem in Eket Local Government Area, Peters began shaping her path early. Her academic journey is both impressive and versatile, reflecting her commitment to personal and professional development.

• M.Sc. in Public Order & Information Management (University of Uyo, 2021)

• Master’s in Public Administration (2006)

• Post Graduate Diploma in Sociology & Anthropology (2017)

• Certificate in Data Processing/Computer Application (1995)
