Award-winning Police Officer DecoratedACP In A’Ibom

The legendary multi-award-winning Chief Superintendent of Police of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command, Osagie Francis Erhabor, was recently decorated Assistant Commissioner of Police by the State Commissioner of Police (CP),Olatoye Durosinmi.

The CP was assisted by the wife of the new ACP, Mrs Ngozichukwuka Erhabor, in the exercise held at the State Police Headquarters, Ikot Akpan Abia.

Durosinmi charged Erhabor to be more committed to his duties in line with the vision of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Alkali Baba Usman, while noting that his legacies as a corruption-free outstanding officer preceded him.

The ACP, who was appointed into the force as a Cadet Inspector in 1990, dedicated his promotion to the Almighty God and thanked the IGP, the Police Service Commission, the CP and his management team.

The ceremony was attended by a number of guests including Pastor Sylvanus Ukafia of the Insight Bible Church where Erhabor is also a pastor.

The ACP is a winner of the Nigeria Integrity in Public Service presented by President Mohammadu Buhari to him, last year.
