…as the Senate President also endorses the Governor for Second Term.

The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, a strong believer and supporter of  President Tinubu, has, as always, recently reiterated his endorsement of the President for a second term in office as President of Nigeria.

The recent endorsement was pronounced by the Governor on Tuesday, during the flag-off of the construction of the 65km Akwa Ibom section of the 750km Lagos to Calabar coastal highway, when he emphatically told the crowd at the event that the president deserves a second term and shall do a second term.

“Let me end by assuring our President, our people loving president, who will complete eight years, because we are going to stand by him, and this is the truth. He cannot start this work and abandon it, somebody else might not finish it. The hand that has started this work shall complete it. Our prayer is good health for Mr President to finish the work that he has started, and commission it”.. the Governor enthused.

In same vein, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has also recently endorsed the Governor for re-election in the state, come 2027.

Akpabio ‘s endorsement was handed down during a public lecture hosted by the Faculty of Social Science, at the University of Uyo.

Akpabio lauded the governor’s rare political gesture and pledged the support of the party (APC) in return.

In the words of the Senate President, who was represented by Saviour Enyiekere: “Sir, I am a member of the All Progressives Congress. I am speaking for the elders and to tell you we are also going to support you for a second term,” the Senate President declared.
