As the speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly (AKHA), Elder Udeme Otong, marks his 61st birthday, the state governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has also sent his birthday felicitations to him.
In a message released by his chief press secretary, Mr Ekerete Udoh, Eno celebrated the speaker for his humility, robust collaboration and acute interest in working with the executive arm of the government to translate the vision of the ARISE Agenda.
“Since God propelled us to the positions of service to our people, you have shown an incredible spirit of unity of purpose and of selflessness in working with us to expand development in our dear state.
“I salute this spirit of cooperation which you and indeed the members of the 8th Assembly exemplify.
“As you mark your birthday today, I ask God to continue to nourish you with great health, sound judgement and more blessings.
“Happy birthday once again, Mr. Speaker!”
