ABUJA
The All Progressives Congress (APC), has again announced the postponement of its House of Representatives Party Primary earlier scheduled to hold today, Friday, May 15.
According to the party’s spokesperson, Mr. Felix Morka, the primary will now take place on Saturday, May 16, across the designated federal constituencies.
The party explained that the adjustment became necessary to ensure a seamless, transparent, and hitch-free conduct of the exercise in line with the APC’s commitment to fairness and due process.
In Akwa Ibom State, the ward stakeholders’ meeting earlier fixed for today has also been rescheduled to Saturday, May 16.
All aspirants, delegates, party officials, and stakeholders have therefore been advised to take note of the new date and make the necessary arrangements accordingly.
The APC expressed regret over any inconvenience the postponement may have caused and appreciated the understanding, patience, and cooperation of party members.
