Gov Emmanuel Commends Nsit Ibom Council Boss over Devt Initiative

Governor Udom Emmanuel has commended the Chairman of Nsit Ibom Local Government Council, Hon. Eric Akpan for his developement initiative and for adding value to his community.

The governor gave the commendation at the commissioning of remodeled Mbiokporo 1 Market, Afia Nsit 1 electrification project and equipment at primary health centre, Ikot Nya.

Governor Emmanuel who was represented by the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Umo Eno said the welfare of the people is one of the major responsibilities of government adding that Hon. Akpan has delivered on that responsibility.

He urged the people of the area, and especially the youths to protect and maintain the facilities for the good of the community.

The governor maintained that PDP remains the major political party in the country that truely cares about the welfare and security of the people and urged them to vote for PDP at all levels in the 2023 elections beginning from Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for president to their own son, Hon Eric Akpan for the State Assembly.

Earlier in his address, the Chairman said the facility is in fulfilment of his social contract with his people adding that since assumption of office, he has added value to the living standard of his people through take -off grant for market women, skill acquisition training for the teeming youths, and empowerment of graduands with starter packs.
